Farm Fun

This past Saturday me and the kids, and some other family members took a day trip to our Uncles dairy farm in McBain.

There was no shortage of fun to fill the few short hours we were there.

We started the day with a picnic lunch in one of the fields behind the house.

End of the season

My brother-in-law, Mike, played softball at the Whistle Stop park this summer and we were lucky enough to make it to a couple of games. This past Tuesday was the last game of the season, so we liked the idea of hittin' the drive-thru for dinner, letting the kids play at the park and then cheer on the team one last time.

7 years and counting

Eric and I celebrated our seven year anniversary this past Monday, I really can't believe it's been 7 years!
He is off on a 'mans' week of 4-wheeling and fishing, so I celebrated with my cousin Julie. She had me and the girls over, and cooked a fantastic dinner.

Heritage Days

We spent last Saturday celebrating Heritage Days in Middleville with my sister her family and some friends. We enjoyed all sorts of activities, some of our favorites included the parade, classic car show, booths with all sorts of crafts and goods to purchase, and of course "fair" type food, my favorite, the elephant ears.

Some of the group waiting patiently for the start of the parade.

Later than evening we went back to Middleville to have a BBQ with friends and family.
