X

Megan Mae is now 10 months, and officially DONE breastfeeding. I was going to make the 15th of Feb her last day, but the Thursday before she slept through her early morning feeding. Seeing that as a sign from the Lord, we made that our last day. No tears were shed, I am excited to have my freedom, and my body back.

Good Genes

Every parent wants to pass along their 'good' genes to their offspring. It might be smarts, looks, or talent just to name a few. One of the things I was hoping to pass along was my dark, thick straight hair. When Abby was born, I knew that she has her dads hair. The little hair she had was, and still is, very curly. Megan was born with very dark thick hair. Now it's light and not growing at the rapid speed I hoped for.

Anyway, Abby LOVES gum, want to chew it all.the.time. Today when we were in the car on the way home, she yells 'look it mom, gum in my hair!!!! I turned around to see a green glob resting front and center in her light locks. This is not how I planned my child's first hair cut.

Knowing that she is in trouble.

Winter x2

Abby and I had a chance this evening to spend some time playing in all the new snow.
One of Abby's favorite things, the swing. It doesn't matter if it's summer or winter.

Winter

Eric and Abby hit the hills this past weekend at a friends B-day party. I had to stay home and wipe snot... seems like I've been doing that all winter with the kids.
Abby was so excited when she got home. She had to tell me all about the sledding, the pizza, and all the dogs that were there. Her favorite part was being licked by the big green dog. Note: she is still working on her colors.
