The New Biz

Last week Eric took a road trip to Pennsylvania to pick up and new trailer. Not just any trailer, but a mobile pressure washer that will someday soon become an income earning trailer. A little side biz if you will. He is still in the company setup stage, insurance, tax stuff, and picking a name (any good ideas??) We hope to have it up and washing in no time.

I am happy because everything at my house is very, very clean!

Holiday

I am so glad that the weather was sunny and warm this Holiday weekend. I was just itchin to get outside and work in the yard. Sunday afternoon we went to BBQ with some friends and it couldn't have been a nicer day to party.

My friend Mandy- What a great hostess!

Her son Colton and dog Kona

And what's a party without some dancing- I think Scott is thinking they need some lessons!

Monday we decided it was time to tackle the garden. So we (Eric) fired up the ole rototiller and went to town.

Wow that looks like hard work! And it is, I did give it a try but only after Eric plowed through it a few times. I did not get anything planted yet, that is my big task for this week.

My New Ride

OK, not my ride but Eric's. It will be used mostly as a "toy" but it's also street legal to help save the penny's at the pump. We picked up this hog (haha) last night so today I was itching to take it on the open road, to feel the wind rush through my hair. But since I am not a licensed rider I had to settle with laps around the house, feeling like the 5yr old that just got her training wheels off and was to afraid of riding on the pavement in case of a spill. Eric driving around town... I only ask where is the helmet??? Now that I see how much fun it is, I think that I need to have my own (hint hint to a certain someone!!)

Almost summer

I finally got around to taking the 409 to the new (used) swing and hanging it up, and Abby couldn't have been happier. I am a little uneasy about the twine rope, but think that I can cover that somehow so it doesn't rope burn her face and hands (yikes).

Not again!

Today was Abby's 6mo doctor visit, she is now at that age of having stranger danger which was out in full force at the doctor visit this morning. Before I could even get her jacket off she was in full meltdown at the sight of someone other than her moms face. Well 3 shots and a few tears later (by Abby of course) we have a healthy, happy baby!!

Not Much

It has been a quiet week at the Brogger household which explains my lack of blogging. Abby is working at sitting by herself... we had a few headers but all in all I think she's getting the hang of it.

This is her taking one of those headers... yes I did still take the picture, yes she did hit her head on the toy, yes she cried, and yes I felt bad for not putting the camera down to try and catch her (It happened really quick)

Next we will be working on the crawling.. I think that will be a while, she can get her knees under herself, then she's not sure what to do. I don't think I am ready for that yet anyway.

Other than that, I hit a few garage sales.. nothing too exciting. I did find this really cute swing. It needs a little cleaner, but what do you expect for $2. I just hope Abby likes it. I am still upset that I passed up the $5 turtle sandbox with a lid, so it's not the neighbor cats litter box, but I will keep looking for another one.

6 Months

Abigail Rae is 6 months old today! Some days it seemed like a quick 6 months, and other days seem like it has taken forever to get to this point. What a pure joy it has been so far, I look forward to many, many more great memories.
