Just The Family

Today we had our family party, just us and the kids. After they woke up we opened gifts, had some fresh pecan sticky buns and relaxed for a few hours before heading out to brave the roads and do some shopping. After the kids afternoon naps, we tried our hand at making cookies. Abby was all about the rolling of the dough and cookie cutters. They are still waiting to be frosted and decorated. Oh well, save that for another day.

Christmas 2009

We spent this morning at my parents for a brunch and gifts galore. All the kids in their Christmas morning PJ's, thanks to Gpa and Gma H.

After a quick nap for the kids, it was round 2. We had Eric's family over later this afternoon and evening for a dinner and MORE gifts! Gma M. with the grand kids and their funny faces.

Getting a group shot of kids is never an easy task.

It's Potty Time

We are finishing week 4 of Abby's potty training and so far it couldn't be easier. She's in her little underwear all day, except for her nap and bedtime. There are the occasional gas station pit stops when we are out, but I think it's totally worth not having 2 kids in diapers.

Reading one of Abby's favorite books before bed, It's potty time.

Naptime

Once in a while Abby decides that a nap is not on her agenda, today was one of those days. When that happens, I always try to find a quiet activity to pass the time, movies, coloring etc. etc. Today we decided on play dough which is always a fun time.

sicko no mo

After 2 weeks of me and the girls being sick, I think the meds are finally kicking in and we are feelin' good. Just in time for the Christmas Parties!

Ocho

Our little baby turned 8 months yesterday!

Megan loves to watch her older sister, all the time. She loves to be held and carried, all the time. She is a picky eater, only wants to eat that wonderful baby oatmeal, all the time. But the best part... she wants to sleep, all the time!

just a pic or 2

The Brogger household has been pretty quiet. Eric is working hard, he is gone about 1-2 days a week picking up trucks. I am home with the girls, trying to avoid the 'sickness' if that's possible. The girls are great. Megan is growing so much, she has two teeth and loves to army crawl all over the place. Abby is on day 4 of potty training. This is not something I was planning on doing until summer, but she kept signaling that she was ready, so why wait. We are looking forward to Christmas, I have about 90 percent of the shopping done, so that makes for a less stressful Holiday season. Putting up the tree is still up for debate... so far, no tree.
